BONTOC, Mountain Province – The Provincial Government of Mountain Province encourages the public to participate in the “Save Chico River Raffle Draw” which will be held on December 17, 2022 at the Provincial Plaza.
The raffle draw is an environmental initiative of the Radyo Natin, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Mountain Province thru its Provincial Information Office, Provincial Tourism Office and its Provincial Environmental and Natural Resources Office, and with the Lang-ay Organization.
A meeting for the implementation of the project and for the Memorandum of Agreement signing among the parties involved were held at the Pearl Café last November 21, 2022.
The activity aims to help save the Chico River by gathering plastic bottles, as it these are the river’s main pollutants, to be recycled or reused instead of throwing them into the river or into other waterways which will just the same end up to the Chico River.
To join, interested participants are advised to write their complete name, address, contact number and signature on a piece of paper, put them inside the plastic bottle/s and bring them to the Provincial Plaza on December 17, 2022. The draw will start at 1:00 p.m. of the same day; therefore, all entries must be submitted before 1:00 p.m..

Prizes at stake are one brand new motorcycle, two brand new televisions, one brand new bicycle, one brand new android phone, five brand new keypad phones, cash and more prizes from sponsors/ donors.
