FLORA, Apayao – The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) conducted a voter education lecture at Allig National Agricultural & Trade High School (ANATHS) in Flora, Apayao on April 26, 2024.
Titled “Voter’s Rights and Responsibilities,” the lecture aimed to educate students about their role and duties as voters.
Led by COMELEC representatives, the session covered important topics such as the right to vote and the responsibilities that accompany it. Students were engaged in discussions about the electoral process, emphasizing the significance of active participation in shaping the nation’s future through responsible voting practices.
The coordinated work of COMELEC’s Central Office, Apayao Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Nicasio S. Jacob and local election officers facilitated the smooth organization of the activity, imparting invaluable knowledge to students about their civic responsibilities as upcoming voters and leaders.
