A total of PhP1,826,800 worth of illegal drugs were seized, and two drug personalities were arrested in the weeklong drug operations conducted from November 26 to December 2, 2023.
Citing the records from the Regional Operations Division, two drug personalities identified as Bernard B. Pallay and Jaydee A. Espisa, were arrested after being caught in possession of suspected shabu weighing MOL 1 gram, with an overall Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PhP6800.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to their respective arresting units, while charges for violating the R.A. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were being prepared against the suspects.
The same report disclosed that a total of 7,300 pieces of fully grown marijuana plants and 3,000 stalks with an overall SDP of PhP1,820,000.00 were discovered in a marijuana eradication operation conducted in the province of Benguet.
These were all burned by operatives after documentation, and follow-up operations are being conducted to identify possible marijuana cultivators.
