A pedestrian was hurt when he was sideswiped by a motorcycle during the night of October 28, 2018 in Kalinga.
The incident was reported to the Rizal Municipal Police Station thru cellular phone, stating that the callers responded to a Hit and Run Vehicular Accident at Santor, Rizal, Kalinga. The callers brought to Juan M. Duyan District Hospital a bloodied male person which they seen laying alongside the road. The latter victim was identified as a certain Carlos (Last Name Unknown), a stay-in worker of SPO2 Chesterly Atawe and resident of Santor, Rizal, Kalinga.
Investigation disclosed that the victim was walking along Santor-Romualdez road with his co-worker when a motorcycle of still unknown description bumped the victim and thereafter sped off towards Brgy. Romualdez, Rizal, Kalinga.
As a result, the victim incurred severe head injury and injuries on the other parts of his body.
The case is still under investigation when this report was filed.
