An alleged member of a private armed group in Abra surrendered to police authorities recently.
The Abra Provincial Police Office reported that on 3:00 PM of January 8, 2020, Eljay Asistio Biyang, 26 years old, single, student, resident of Poblacion, Lagayan, Abra, and an alleged private armed group member under the Sindon Group operating in the Municipality of Lagayan, Abra voluntarily surrendered to the personnel of PIB/PDEU, Lagayan MPS, Abra PPO, RID and RIU-14 at Camp Colonel Juan Villamor, Calaba, Bangued, Abra,
Biyang is now in the custody of PIB Abra PPO for debriefing.
