CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad – Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO-COR) family formally welcomed its newly appointed Regional Director, PBGen. David Kang-owan Peredo Jr., during the Turnover of command ceremony held recently, at The Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa here.
PBGen. Peredo succeeded PBGen. Bazar, who will assume his new post as Deputy Commander of Area Police Command-Northern Luzon.
The highlight of the ceremony is when PBGen. Mafelino A. Bazar, the outgoing PRO-COR Regional Director, passes the Office Symbol of Authority and the Office Property and Equipment Inventory Book To the incoming Regional Director, PBGen. Peredo Jr.
PBGEN, Peredo said in his speech, “As I begin to embark my leadership in PRO COR, I would like to encourage every person with the principle of providing better services, and let every action and undertaking be anchored with my three-fold agenda, summed-up as DKP for Disiplina, Kakayahan, Pagmamahal at Pagtupad sa tungkulin.”
Prior to his assignment, PBGen. Peredo served as the Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA) of the Police Regional Office 5.
The Turnover of command ceremony was presided over by PLTGen. Felipe R. Natividad, APC-NL Commander, is the ceremony’s guest of honor and speaker. PLTGen. Natividad read the message of Chief PNP PGen Rodolfo Azurin Jr., where he congratulated PBGen. Bazar for his excellent job maintaining peace and order in CAR.
During a media interview, PBGen. Peredo further explained some of his plans for the Cordillera, which included increasing police visibility in preventing crime and sustaining public safety and order. He also mentioned that the fight against marijuana and other illegal drugs is also included in his top priorities.
PBGen. Peredo also assured that PRO-COR would maintain its credible reputation as the “Home of the Most Disciplined Cops” to maintain peace and order in the region. By Graysheil Frae Runes
