LA PAZ, Abra January 13 – A 26-year old sales representative was injured after he was shot by a farmer when he was about to go out from the house of a neighbour due to an alleged old grudge at Udangan, here, Thursday night.
Police authorities identified the injured individual as Leandro Blanza Dosdos, 26, single, sales representative of K Servico while the suspect was named as Arnel Calayoan Blanza, 43, married, farmer, both residents of Barangay Udangan, La Paz, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was about to go out from the house of a neighbour when he was shot by the suspect who seemed to have waited for him outside the said house.
The victim was immediately rushed to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment and was later confined upon advise of his physicians.
The suspect was subsequently arrested by responding police operatives and is now detained at the La Paz Municipal Police Station awaiting the filing of the case against him while the weapon used was not recovered from his possession.
Probers established the motive of the crime as an alleged old grudge between the two individuals.
