BAGUIO CITY – Incorporating the Arctic theme, SM Baguio finally lighted their Christmas village and 40 feet-tall Christmas tree with the goal of spreading joy this Christmas season. The said Christmas decorations are open to the public from October 22, 2023 – January 6, 2024.
“We know that the true meaning of Christmas is joy. It’s celebrating the variables, giving gifts, big and small, and let’s not forget sharing what we can with others, for the less fortunate.” highlighted by Assistant Mall Manager Jason Peña in his message.
He said as early as September 17, they have started their one hundred days of Christmas surprises. In commitment to serving joy, he then emphasized their Bears of Joy Campaign where people get a chance to extend joy for the less fortunate. For each pair of bears that are purchased, a portion will be given to charities.
Peña added the launching of their new Christmas jingle sung by Jose Marichan. He was then proud to announce their great offers for the Christmas season such as sales, Mall fairs, bazars, shopping and entertainment.
He ended his message by giving gratitude to their government and non-government partners who made their event possible. In connection, Congressman Mark Go and Mayor Benjamin Magalong were among the present government officials in the event whose messages centered on the true meaning of Christmas and hoped for more blessings to come in the city.
Additionally, Balley Baguio’s performance contributed to the audience’s astounding experience. The event culminated with a Santa Claus persona, where kids and their families delighted in taking pictures. By Adrian Mas
