BANGUED, Abra July 26 – A member of a local drug group and two others were arrested yesterday afternoon during a sting operation by anti narcotics agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Abra Provincial Office together with local police at Barangay Calaba, Bangued, Abra.
Eddie Mar Donato Bayle alias Abbet, 31 years old, a member of a local drug group and a resident of Barangay Calaba, Bangued, Abra was nabbed together with Regienald Bilgera Acena, male, 22 years old and resident of Sta. Rosa, Bangued, Abra; and Majal Camaddo Almazan, male, 20 years old and a resident of Barangay Calaba, Bangued, Abra.
They were apprehended for selling one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu to an undercover agent.
Confiscated from them after the arrest were two opened transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu residue, several drug paraphernalia, a mobile phone and the buy-bust money.
They will be facing cases for violation of Republic Act Number 9165, otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
