A trader listed as the top drug personality of the Baguio City Office Station No. 7, was hurt after he was shot by a still unidentified gunman in front of a restaurant along First Kayang Street, here, around 7:30 PM Thursday, September 29.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, BCPO City Director, identified the victim as Amino Mamorangca, a trader, who is said to be one of the top drug personalities in the City.
Witnesses informed probers that the victim was in the place of the incident when the still unidentified gunman suddenly appeared from nowhere and shot him several times that also caused panic among those in the area.
The victim was rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center where he immediately underwent operation to remove the bullets in his body.
Responding Police Operatives and elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation Team recovered from the crime scene several spent shells of a still unidentified firearm used by the suspect in the perpetration of the crime.
