City officials recently commended and congratulated the University of Baguio (UB) for ranking first place for the 2024 nationwide sanitary engineers computer-based licensure examination with the most number of successful examinees.
In a resolution, local legislators stated that the excellence of UB and its commitment in producing quality graduates is a testament to the higher education institution’s mission of nurturing academic excellence, henceforth are well deserving of commendation and recognition from the local government.
Further, the UB is in pursuit of its commitment in providing balanced quality education by nurturing academic excellence, relevant social skills, and ethical values in a fun learning environment.
Earlier, the 2024 licensure examination for sanitary engineers was held from February 27-29, 2024 and the results were immediately announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on March 1, 2024, a day after the commencement of the said examination.
UB produced 93.75 percent of successful first-time examination takers, 88.89 percent passing rate and 72 percent national passing rate.
