City officials recently congratulated and commended Aliya Lain E. Padilla of the University of the Cordilleras (UC) for having been chosen and awarded as the grand winner of the Young Tax Professional of the Year Philippines 2023.
In a resolution, local legislators stated that the uncommon and exceptional feat of a Baguio-based student in Ms. Padilla is truly remarkable and worthy of the city government’s commendation and congratulation.
Further, the council claimed that the resolution of commendation serves as the city’s expression of well wishes for Ms. Padilla in the upcoming International Young Tax Professional of the Year 2024 and a beacon of inspiration to all exemplary student achievers of the city.
Padilla is a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy student of the University of the Cordilleras who has been awarded the grand winner of the Young Tax Professional Philippines in 2023.
Her victory secured her as the country’s representative to the International Finals Competition anytime this month.
Among a total of 19 participants from different colleges and universities across the nation, Padilla garnered the highest award nationally.
