BANGUED, Abra – A 76-year old widow died while two occupants of a motorcycle were injured when the said vehicle allegedly bumped the former along the Abra-Kalinga provincial road, particularly at Zone 7, here, Friday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Nora Millan Balauro, 76, widower, a resident of Zone 7, Bangued, Abra while the injured motorcycle occupants were named as Henry Trinidad Tejero, 35, married, driver, and his backride passenger identified as Julius Macarimbam Tejero, 30, single, both residents of Deet, Tayum, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was crossing the road when she was accidentally bumped by the speeding motorcycle where the injured persons were on board.
The three persons were rushed to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment but the widow was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians while the motorcycle occupants are undergoing close medical observation in the same hospital.
