BANGUED, Abra – Two persons were injured after they were fired upon by a minor while they were on board a motorcycle on their way home at Macray here Friday.
Senior Superintendent Antonio Bartolome, provincial director of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the injured individuals as Mark John Bolusan Testado, 23, single, unemployed and Edmund Quindara Palos, 27, married, unemployed both residents of Brgy. Cabaroan, Tayum, Abra while he described the suspect, who is now at large, as a minor and a resident of Macray, Bangued, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed the victims were on board a motorcycle on their way home when upon reaching the palce of incident, the suspect, without any reason at all, allegedly fied at the occupants of the motorcycle htting Testado on the different parts of his body.
The duo were immediately rushed by concerned residents to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment and are now recovering from the injuries they sustained from the shooting incident.
Elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team recovered from the crime scene a spent shell of a 12-guage shotgun which was used by the suspect in the perpetration of the crime.
The motive of the sooting incident is yet unknown and now the subject of an investigation.
