LUNA, Apayao – To enhance the professional capabilities of local utility employees, the Apayao Training Center (ATC) organized a two-day training program focused on housekeeping services from December 12-13, 2023, at the Apayao Training Center Compound, in Luna.
Attended by 25 utility employees from the provincial government, the training delved into the intricacies of housekeeping, emphasizing its role in creating a clean, comfortable, safe, and visually-appealing environment for clients and visitors. This extends to management of various spaces, including rooms, public areas, rear areas, and the surrounding premises within entities such as hotels and offices.
The primary goal of this course is to elevate the housekeeping competencies of the participants. The curriculum strategically targeted areas such as advanced cleaning practices, adherence to safety protocols, and the effective utilization of equipment. By bolstering their knowledge and skills, the training aimed to empower the housekeeping staff, enabling them to maintain a pristine and organized workplace. This, in turn, contributes significantly to overall workplace safety.
Beyond the technical aspects, the program also sought to address the holistic development of the participants. By fostering skill enhancement and acknowledging the crucial role of housekeeping staff, the initiative aimed to uplift employee morale, enhance motivation levels, and ultimately contribute to heightened job satisfaction.
