BAGUIO CITY – Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan issued Administrative Order No. 136, series of 2015 suspending the implementation of the Baguio City Number Coding Scheme for private vehicles only on November 17 to December 7, 2015 to pave the way for the conduct of the 62nd Annual National Mine Safety and Environment Conference and the 66th edition of the Fil-Am invitational golf tournament.
The 62nd Annual National Mine Safety and Environment Conference being spearheaded by the Philippine Mine Safety and Environment Association (PMSEA will be held on November 17-20, 2015 while the 66th Fil-Am invitational golf tournament which will be held at the Baguio Country Club and Camp John Hay fairways is scheduled on November 21 to December 5, 2015.
Domogan cited the temporary suspension of the number coding scheme for private vehicles only will prove members of the mining industry, participating golfers, visitors and their families will have a stress-free travel around the city and the different tourist destinations.
It has been a tradition of the city government to suspend the implementation of the Baguio City Number coding Scheme during the conduct of crowd drawing events hosted by the city to allow visitors to have a stress-free and convenient trial around the city and its tourist destinations.
