BANAUE, Ifugao– The town’s No. 5 top most wanted person facing rape charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant in his residence at Lamagan, Bocos, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted person as Jayson Gumuwang alias “Ayson Chappog,” 18, single, farmer, and a resident of Lamagan Bocos, Banaue, Ifugao.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by former Judge Esther L. Piscoso-Flor of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 34 in Banaue for rape in relation to the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
