BANAUE, Ifugao January 25 – The town’s No. 6 top most wanted person facing rape charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant in his residence at Bocos, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted person as Jordan Ognayon alias “Tappaya,” 19, single, carpenter and a resident of Bocos, Banaue, Ifugao.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by former Judge Esther L. Piscoso-Flor of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 34 in Banaue for rape in relation to the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrested wanted person was brought to the Banaue Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against him.
