Tabuk city, Kalinga – A farmer was hurt after he was shot by still unidentified assailants while he was on his way home from a drinking session at Purok 1 Balong, Tabuk City, Kalinga here recently.
Senior Superintendent Victor Wanchakan, officer-in-charge of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Dominador Callabay Molina, of legal age, farmer, married, Purok 1 Balong, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Initial police investigation showed the victim attended an earlier drinking session in a nearby house before joining another group in the neighbourhood.
When he decided to go home, the victim was allegedly shot by a still unidentified assailant at close range.
The victim was rushed by concerned residents to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation.
