A former SK Kagawad was arrested by the joint operatives of Abanao Police Station (PS7) and PDEA-Baguio in a buy-bust operation conducted in Governor Pack, Session Road Barangay, Baguio City, in the night of December 30, 2020.
Carl John B Soriano “aka” John Mark Soriano, 22 years old, was arrested after he allegedly sold suspected shabu worth Php 3,400.00 to the operatives who acted as poseur-buyer.
During the operation, two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.5g with market value Php 3,400.00, one-piece genuine Php1,000.00 buy-bust money, three pieces of Php 1,000.00 boodle money and one Samsung Cellphone were seized by the operating personnel.
Onsite inventory of confiscated pieces of evidence was conducted in the presence of Prosecutor Oliver Isabelo Prudencio, Kagawad Clemente Casuga III and media representative Janice Dennis of Bombo Radyo.
The suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence is now under the custody of PDEA-CAR. Carl John B Soriano will be facing charges of Violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
