FLORA, Apayao April 05 – The No. 3 top most wanted person of Ilocos Sur facing drug and gun ban charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on separate warrants in his alleged hideout at Malubibit, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted individual as Ruel Teves Magbulos, 46, single, & a resident of barangay Aring, Badoc, Ilocos Norte.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rafael Alzate of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 24 in Kabugao, ILocos Sur for three counts of violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Law and gun ban with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
Confiscated from his possession by the operating troops were one calibre .45 pistol with one magazine loaded with seven live ammunitions
The wanted person is an alleged member of the Igne Rosete which is engaged in gun for hire activities in the different parts of the Ilocos Region.
The arrested wanted individual was brought to the Flora Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against him.
