KABUGAO, Apayao – The municipal government hosted a recognition and thanksgiving event to honor the Kabugao delegates who participated in the province’s 29th Founding Anniversary competitive sports, rescuelympics, and celebrations.
Held at the Dioniso S. Agudelo Memorial Gymnasium on February 19, 2024, the event was attended by guests, Board Member Vincent Talattag, officials of the municipal government, and other stakeholders.
During the program, Kathlyn Joy Dicray and Arl Dave Portacio, candidates of Taer Dayag ti Apayao 2024 were given recognition for winning 2nd runner-up position. The acknowledgment, according to the municipal government, highlights their achievements and contributions to the community.
Furthermore, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management team in Kabugao was lauded for being the champions of the Apayao 29th Founding Anniversary Rescuelympics, held at Dacao Dam, Lower Maton, Pudtol on February 12, 2024. Their exceptional performance underscores their dedication to safeguarding the safety and welfare of Kabugao’s residents.
The municipal government said the event serves as a meaningful opportunity to express gratitude to the delegates for their key role in the growth and development of the community and province.
