BAGUIO CITY – The lifeless body of a 59-year old man was found inside the shanty near the barangay hall of barangay Dontogah at Purok 2, Dontogan here Sunday dawn.
Senior Superintendent George Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio city Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Arcadio Sabado Ferrer, 59, and a resident of Purok 2, Dontogan, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was brought to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) by Gilbert Ronquillio Salvador , 29, married, construction worker, and a resident of Purok 2, Dontogan, Baguio City because of alleged pain on his both knees last February 25 but he was subsequently discharged in this hospital last February 26.
The victim was suffering from Neuropsychiatric disorder, severe psoriasis, severe seborrheic dermatitis, poor hygiene as stated on his medical certificate issued by Dr. Eleonor Baldo Soriano.
However, he was found lifeless inside his shanty early Sunday morning, thus, the incident was reported to the police who rushed the victim to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Probers found no signs of external injuries on his body, thus, foul play was ruled out on his death.
