ITOGON, Benguet – A 40-year old man was injured after he was stabbed by his drinking partner inside a residence at Malasin, Ucab, here, Thursday.
Senior Inspector Heherson Zambale, chief of the Itogon Municipal Police Station, identified the injured individual as Archieles Ayan Aquisio, 40, and resident of Malasin, Ucab, Itogon Benguet while he named the suspect as Joel Galangco Sucabit.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim and the suspect, together with other companions, were having a drinking session when an intense argument erupted between the duo.
After a few moments, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim once before fleeing towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives from the Itogon Municipal Police Station.
