CONNER, Apayao – A 23-year old man was injured after he was stabbed by his drinking partner during a drinking session at Manag, here, Thursday.
Police authorities identified the injured individual as Jaykxz L. Sagucio, 23, single while the suspect was named as Joshua C. Picsewin, 21, single, both residents of the barangay Manag, Conner, Apayao.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim and the suspect, together with other companions, were having a drinking session when a heated argument erupted between the two individuals that escalated into a fistfight.
At this juncture, the suspect allegedly pulled out a sharp object that was tacked on his waist and stabbed the victim once before fleeing towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was rushed to the Conner district hospital before being transferred to the Cagayan Valley Medical Center in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan for further medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives.
