MANKAYAN, Benguet – The town’s No. 4 top most wanted person facing rape charges was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant in his residence at Cayus, Quirino, Ilocos Sur, Monday.
Police authorities identified the arrested wanted individual as Benito Tacio Esto, 44, single, farmer, native and resident of Cayus, Quirino, Ilocos Sur.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Sergio T. Angnganay of the ?Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 64 in Buguias for rape with a recommended bail of P240,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the Mankayan Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
