Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad Benguet – Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) intensified its campaign against wanted persons and arrested six Top Most Wanted Persons (TMWP) for the 4th Quarter this year and 19 others landed in jail after they were nabbed in various parts of Cordillera during the first week of the month.
Baguio City’s No. 9 top most wanted person for the crime of Robbery with Force upon Things identified as Eugene Copias Bacani aka “Eugene Lupian Bacani Jr.”, 18, vendor, native of San Fernando, La Union, residing at San Antonio Village, Aurora Hill, Baguio City was captured at Brgy. Poro, San Fernando, La Union on October 1, 2018. Judge Glenda T. Ortiz-Soriano of MTCC Branch 2, Baguio City recommended a bailbond amounting to Php60,000.00.
On the city level, two top most wanted persons of Tabuk City were locked-up in jail. The No. 5, TMWP for the crime of rape identified as Ver Dangpason Wandagan, 18, farmer and resident of Backong, Tanudan, Kalinga was arrested at Sitio Backong, Barangay Pangol, Tanudan, Kalinga in the night of October 3, 2018. Meanwhile, the No. 7 TMWP for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness identified as Marson Gunaban Ducayag, 27, construction worker, a resident of Nambucayan, Tabuk City, Kalinga was arrested at Bacras, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga on October 1, 2018.
Acting Presiding Judge Nicanor S. Pascual, RTC Branch 25, 2nd Judicial Region Bulanao, Tabuk, City, Kalinga recommended Php180,000.00 bailbond for Ducayag for his temporary liberty but no bailbond recommend for Wandagan.
In the municipal level, three TMWPs were also captured in the provinces of Abra and Benguet.
The No. 5 top most wanted in the municipality of Bucay, Abra, identified as Erasmo Dela Paz Barroga, 58, native and a resident of Barangay Banglolao, Bucay, Abra was arrested in Sitio Biclat, Barangay Bazar, Sallapadan, Abra in the afternoon of October 3, 2018. Judge Raphiel Alzate of RTC Branch 58, Bucay, Abra issued his warrant of arrest for the crime of Incestuous Rape with no bail recommended and Rape by sexual assault with a recommended bail bond of Php 400,000.00.
While in the municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet, two TMWP landed in jail for the crime of Child Abuse, they were captured in their respective residences. The No. 4 most wanted person was identified as Rodrigo Manzon Gabriel, 52, vegetable porter, native of Malasiqui, Pangasinan and residing at Balili, La Trinidad, Benguet was apprehended in the morning of October 4, 2018. While the No. 5 TMWP identified as Nick Malipat Padsing, 38, bank appraiser, a resident of Bayabas, Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet was seized in the afternoon of October 2, 2018.
Judges Marietta B. Cualing, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 9, First Judicial Region, Benguet Province recommended a bail bond of ₱160,000.00 for Gabriel while Marieta S. Brawner-Cualing, of Regional Trial Court, First Judicial Region, Branch 9, La Trinidad, Benguet recommended bail bond of Php 80,000.00 for Padsing.
Moreover, 19 other wanted persons were arrested regionwide for committing various crimes.
