BAGUIO CITY – Following the launching of the five-year Regional Development Plan (RDP) for 2023 to 2028, last Thursday, June 15, 2023, the Regional Development Council (RDC) Chairperson and Apayao Governor Elias C. Bulut, Jr. recently initiated an informal meeting with the concerned stakeholders along with the Presidential Assistant for Northern Luzon, Asec. Ana Carmela Ventura – Remigio at President’s Office, Baguio Country Club.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss proposed projects and initiatives that they wish to bring to the president’s attention through Asec. Ventura-Remigio.
Highlighting the pressing development needs of the region and presenting feasible plans to address them, Gov. Bulut Jr. encouraged all participants, especially the provincial governors to actively engage in constructive dialogue.
As the Chairman of the RDC, Gov. Bulut Jr. plays a vital role in coordinating regional development efforts and ensuring the alignment of various projects with the national development agenda of the Marcos administration. With the collaboration between regional and national government entities, he aims to leverage this meeting to foster a more robust partnership in advancing the socioeconomic growth of the Cordillera region.
