SAN JUAN, Abra – A 43-year old man who is listed as the town’s No. 5 drug personality died after he was shot by law enforcers when he attempted to fire at members of the drug buy bust team in his residence in Bulacan, Friday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Jaime Oseo Guipa, 43, married, jobless, native of Bulacan and presently residing in Brgy. Graceville, CSJDM, Bulacan.
Initial police investigation showed after the buy bust operation was consumated, the victim noticed that he sold suspected illegal drugs to a law enforcer that prompted him to draw his firearm and attempted to shoot the policemen but he was fired upon by the members of the buy bust team that caused his instantaneous death.
Recovered by the responding police operatives from the crime scene were One small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu (buy-bust items); five pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance (shabu); 10 pieces transparent plastic sachet containing shabu residue; four aluminium foil strip; one Caliber .22 revolver without serial number loaded with one fired cartridge case and two live ammo of same caliber; five cartridge cases of Cal. 9mm fired; one Lucky Star motorcycle without plate number; one pc five hundred peso bill as marked money; one pack plastic sachet; and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The case was still subjected to further investigation by the responding police operatives to ascertain whether or not the victim was killed by virtue of a legitimate operation.
