BAGUIO CITY October 23 – A service crew was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on two warrants for statutory rape and violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law in his residence at Bakakeng Norte, here, Sunday.
Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested individual as Mark Kevin Berganio, 24, single, service crew and a resident of Purok8, Bakakeng Norte, Baguio City.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Ivan Kim Morales of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 59 for statutory rape and violation of RA 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
