BANGUED, Abra – A 17-year old student was hurt after he was repeatedly stabbed by a 19-year old student in front of an eatery at Capitulacion St., Zone 2 here Friday night.
Senior Superintendent Antonio Bartolome, provincial director of the Abra Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Christian Loyd Cantor Paragas, 17, minor, single and a resident of Zone 2, Bangued, Abra and the suspect was identified as while he named the suspect as Roy Bartolazo, 19, and a resident of barangay Calaba, Bangued, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and his companions were seated on the side of the road when a group of males, including the suspect, suddenly attached them that resulted into a commotion.
Upon noticing that he sustained a stab wound on his right shoulder, the victim tried to escape from the crime scene but the suspect followed him but he was able to ran away from the pursuing individual.
The victim was rushed to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by police operatives.
