TUBA, Benguet – The lifeless body of a 23-year old taxi driver was found by concerned citizens in a 200-meter ravine at Lasong, Tadiangan, here, Thursday.
Police authorities identified the victim as Yolito Judan Olida, 23, married, taxi driver, and a resident of Alta Verde, Tadiangan Tuba, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and his relatives went to spend a break at the Asin hot springs and when they were on their way home, they decided to drop by a store where his relatives allegedly drunk liquor.
When he was offered a drink, he refused to do so but instead allegedly went unruly and created trouble.
His relatives was not able to pacify him and that he suddenly left the area and walk along the road and suddenly disappeared and never arrived home since Monday.
His relatives tried their efforts to locate his whereabouts but they were not able to do so until concerned citizens were able to locate his body in the aforesaid ravine.
