BAGUIO CITY July 23 – A 19-year old teenager died after he allegedly hanged himself inside his temporary residence along Legarda Road, here, Sunday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as 19 year old single and native of San Mariano Lallo, Cagayan and a caretaker of Legarda Road, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed that interview conducted with John Clyn Tovera Balimbin, 24, company guard and resident of Camp 7 and also a native of San Mariano Lallo, Cagayan, revealed that the victim was not answering calls on his cellphone that prompted him to check his residence.
The guard allegedly used a window in the kitchen as his point of entry to the victim’s residence where he discovered the lifeless body of the victim sprawled on the floor of his room with a belt tied on the ceiling.
Responding police operatives and elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team discovered that there was no forcible entry that was made in the residence and that he was said to have died due to Asphyxia hanging.
Further, probes found a suicide note that was placed on top of the table inside the victim’s room that strengthened the findings that he allegedly committed suicide.
