BAGUIO CITY May 28 – A 27-year old woman was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for alleged estafa along Yandoc St., here, Friday.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual as Jhunel Layad Basawil, 27 years old, married, businessman, and resident of Lubas, La Trinidad, Benguet.
She was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Leody Opolinto of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) Branch 3 in Baguio City for alleged estafa with a recommended bail of P200,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the BCPO Station No. 8 for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against her.
