TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A woman died while three individuals were injured after a hand tractor was bumped on its rear portion by a van along the Tabuk-Isabela road, particularly at Agbannawag, here, Sunday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Madeline Viloria Baggas while those injured were named as Abiso Binuloc Baggas, 57 years old, married, farmer, Cornelio Dangoy Viloria and Rita Viloria Baggas, all residents of New Balbalan, Lacnong, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Initial police investigation showed that the tractor and the van were both heading towards Agbannawag when the van driven by Symble Barnawe Lambayong, 33, OFW, and resident of Bulo, Tabuk City, Kalinga accidentally bumped the tractor on its rear portion that caused all its occupants to be thrown out of their vehicle banging their bodies on the concrete pavement.
The victims were rushed to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital for medical treatment but the fatality expired while undergoing medical supervision in the said hospital.
