BAGUIO CITY April 04 – Two scrappers were injured after they were allegedly stabbed by their fellow scrapper during a commotion that cropped up while they were having a drinking spree at Padre Burgos St., here, recently.
Police authorities identified the injured victims as Nelson Viray Aballog, 30, scraper, and a resident of Fairview Baguio City and Randy Doria a.k.a. “Dagupan,” of legal age, scraper, no permanent address while the suspect was named only as a certain “JR”, of legal age, wearing black t-shirt, black pants, approximately 5’5” in height, slim, scraper, with no permanent address.
Initial police investigation showed the victims and the suspect had a drinking session when the suspect and Doria had a heated altercation that resulted into a commotion.
When the two individuals fell on the ground, Aballog allegedly punched the suspect on his nose that prompted the latter to take the knife in his bag and stabbed the victims on the different parts of their bodies before fleeing towards the central business district area.
The victims were rushed by concerned citizens to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives.
