BAGUIO CITY – Two persons were injured after they were allegedly mauled by still unidentified suspects while they were about to consume their coffee inside a store at Purok 6, Dontogan here Friday night.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victims as Nolasco Rabanal Fabular Jr., 25, and a resident of Purok 6, Baguio City and Mr. Jino Anogui Guimpac, 19, and a resident of Ongasan, Loakan, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victims were about to consume their coffee inside a store when a group of still unidentified individuals suddenly arrived in the place where they were and started mauling them for still unknown reasons.
The suspects immediately fled the crime scene after the victims fell on the ground and they were subsequently rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment.
The suspects are now the subject of a manhunt operation by police operatives considering that they are known to some of the people in the community.
