BANGUED, Abra – A barbershop owner died after he was shot on his head by a lone gunman in front of his business establishment at Capitolacion St., Zone 1, here, Saturday.
Police identified the fatality as Randy Julio Bragas Daria, of legal age, married, owner of Niños Barber Shop and resident of Barangay Macray, Bangued, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim was about to walk across the street from his establishment when the suspect, who was wearing black jacket with hood, suddenly approached him from behind and shot him on his head before fleeing towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was rushed to the Seares Memorial Hospital by concerned citizens for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to fatal gunshot wounds on his head.
Probers are still ascertaining the real motive behind the murder of the barbershop owner.
