RIZAL, Kalinga April 10 – A 45-year old farmer died after he was stabbed by his younger brother during a heated altercation in the latter’s residence at Calaocan, here, Monday night.
Police authorities identified the victim as Lawrence Bayudan Tanacio, 45, married, farmer while the suspect was named as his younger brother, Nelson Bayudan Tanacio, 43, married, farmer, both residents of Calaocan, Rizal, Kalinga.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim had a heated altercation with the suspect’s wife but the suspect tried to pacify them.
However, the victim allegedly kicked the suspect that prompted the latter to grab a kitchen knife and stabbed his older brother.
The victim was rushed to the Juan Duyan hospital for medical treatment for medication but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to multiple stab wounds on his body.
