LUNA, Apayao – Governor Elias C. Bulut, Jr. extended his appreciation to the participants and competitors who contributed to the success of the month-long festivities of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PSCA).
In his short message, the Governor mentioned the role of sports in making the province known to other places in the country, relating how Apayao increased its brand awareness through several triumphs in regional and national competitions.
During the Kapehan sa Kapitolyo on October 2, 2023, held at Clubhouse, Apayao Eco Tourism and Sports Complex (AETSC), Gov. Bulut likewise emphasized the importance of sportsmanship and camaraderie of employees over winning.
“It’s not about winning anymore. It’s the sportsmanship and camaraderie that we have built throughout the month-long celebration,” Gov. Bulut said.
“With the rapport that we have built, I expect that we will have a more intact inter-agency collaborations moving forward,” he added.
The governor went on to congratulate Cluster IV for securing the title of the overall champion for the celebration. Cluster IV consists of Philippine National Police, Apayao State College, Department of Interior and Local Government, Cooperative Development Authority, Land Transportation Office, Philippine Statistics Authority, Department of Science and Technology, and Department of Information and Communication Technology.
He also urged public servants to sustain their hard work for the betterment of the province and the yApayaos. By JCM
