IFUGAO – A young boy died after he allegedly hanged himself on a mango tree in front of their house, here, Friday.
Police authorities identified the alleged suicide victim as a 10 years old, Grade IV student, and a resident of Lamut, Ifugao.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim went home and assisted her mother to take a bath before going out of their residence.
After her mother finished cooking their dinner, she tried to locate her son and to her surprise, she saw him hanging on the mango tree with a rope tied around his neck.
The victim was rushed to the Panudpudan District Hospital for medical treatment but was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to alleged strangulation.
Probers found no foul play in the crime scene during the conduct of their investigation relative to the said incident.
