ABRA – A jobless man died after he allegedly hand himself on a tree in front of their residence here Sunday afternoon.
Police authorities identified the fatality as a 32-year old unemployed male, single, a native of Quezon and temporarily residing at Pidigan Abra.
Initial police investigation showed that prior to the incident, the victim was allegedly under the influence of liquor and subsequently created trouble in the house where he is temporarily staying but was later pacified.
The house owner thought that the victim was sleeping inside their residence but to his surprise, his brother-in-law found him hanging on a nylon cord tied to a berry tree in front of their house that prompted them to seek the needed assistance.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to alleged strangulation.
Probers ruled that there was no foul play in the said incident after the conduct of the investigation on the matter.
