La Trinidad, Benguet – A 40-year old house keeper was hurt after he was punched on the nose by a beautician inside their house at Dengsi here recently.
Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot, officer-in-charge of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, identified the victim as Flordeliza Lopez Adarog, 40, married, housekeeper, native of Kibungan, Benguet, and a resident of Dengsi, Tawang, La Trinidad, Benguet while he named the suspect as Adolfo Lopez Daguioan III, 33, single, beautician, and a resident of Twin Peaks, Tuba, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the victim fetched the drunk suspect in a liquor establishment and upon arriving in their house, the latter allegedly inquired from the former on where was his missing money that was lost when he slept in their residence previously.
While the victim was explaining his side, the suspect reportedly punched him on the nose causing the same to bleed and tried to flee towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was rushed by concerned neighbors to the Benguet General Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect was arrested by responding police operatives and now detained at the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station.
