TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A 23-year old labourer was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession dried marijuana bricks in a police checkpoint at Talaca-Agbannawag road here Wednesday morning.
Senior Superintendent Victor Wanchakan, officer-in-charge of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested drug courier as. Leomar Soriano Bueno, 23, single, laborer and a resident of Purok 3, barangay Alabog, Tuao, Cagayan.
Confiscated from his possession were two pieces of half bricks of dried marijuana leaves and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The suspect was brought to the Tabuk City Police Station for documentation before the filing of charges of violation of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Law filed against him before the city prosecutor’s office.
