BONTOC, Mountain Province – Individuals gifted with talents are encouraged to step up and showcase what they got in the Bontoc Got Talent in celebration of the 110th Bontoc Foundation Day and 14th Am-among Festival this September. According to Mary S. Chomapoy of the Committee on Bontoc Got Talent, the competition is open to anyone who has the voice, the moves and the guts. Thus, it is open to individuals or groups who would like to show –off their God -given talents and entertain the public be it in singing, dancing, acting and among others. With this, interested individuals or groups are advised to submit their names and entries to Mary S. Chomapoy and Aida P. Lingbanan at the Municipal Budget Office, 2nd Floor of the Fesway Building, Eyeb, Poblacion, Bontoc. However, the winner in the last year’s Bontoc Got Talent shall not join in the competition this year but will be performing during the Final Showdown. The Pre-Audition will be on September 8, 2018 at 2:00 in the afternoon at the Mountain Province General Comprehensive High School (MPGCHS) Open Gym. Those who will make it in the pre-audition will compete against each other in the Final Show of the Bontoc Got Talent in the evening of September 15, 2018. Cash prizes shall be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place while consolation prizes shall be given to the five individuals who did not make it to the Top 3. The Bontoc Got Talent which became part of the yearly celebration of the Bontoc Foundation Day and Am-among Festival has shown that there are plenty of talented people in Bontoc regardless of age with the influx of contestants who have signed up for the competition in the previous years.
