Five teenagers and a farmer were hurt in Ifugao when the motorized vehicles they were riding collided.
Blotter reports revealed that at about 7:00 PM on July 28, 2018, a concerned citizen called Alfonso Lista MPS hotline informing that a vehicular accident happened at the highway of Sta. Maria, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao along Aves corn buying station.
Responding policemen found out that a red Euro 150 tricycle, without plate number, driven by Jomar Viloria Salas, 16, grade 11 student, with three passengers namely: Marjorie Viloria Salas, 14, grade 10 student, resident of Villaros, Cabaruguis, Quirino, Province; Joseph Marcelo Salas, 14, grade 11 student and Maricel Marcelo Salas, 17, out of school youth, both residents of Laya, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao, collided with a single, blue TMX 155 motorcycle, bearing plate number BS 3973, driven by Jerwin Corpuz Ulnagan, 18, single, farmer with back rider Jessie Apostol Senido, 40, married, farmer both residents of Sta. Maria, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.
Initial investigation showed that tricycle was traversing northbound and while navigating a semi-blind curve portion of the highway, they accidentally collided with the TMX motorcycle who was heading southbound.
As a result, Jomar Salas sustained serious laceration at his left neck and was referred to Southern Isabela General Hospital in Santiago City. Maricel Salas sustained laceration on her forehead, Jerwin Ulnagan sustained fracture on his left clavicle while the three (3) others sustained minor abrasions.
The passengers were brought to Potia District Hospital by MDRRMO personnel.
Both drivers have no driver’s license and their motorcycles were not registered. Involved motorcycles are now under the custody of Alfonso Lista MPS.
