BANGUED, Abra May 03 – An 18-year old student died while his brother was injured after they were fired upon by still unidentified gun-wielding individuals along Domaoal St. Zone 6, here, Tuesday night.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Sean Shendrick Lapesura Baro, 18 years old, criminology student and residents of Macray Tayum, Abra while his injured brother was named as Dino Lapesura Baro.
Initial police investigation showed the brothers were on board their motorcycle travelling along the said road when they were fired upon by still unidentified armed individuals who positioned themselves on the side of the road.
The victim was able to drive their motorcycle away from the crime scene but they allegedly crashed on the side of the road.
The brothers were rushed by concerned citizens to the Abra Provincial Hospital for medical treatment but the victim died while undergoing medical treatment while his brother is still being subjected to further medical supervision.
