KIANGAN, Ifugao – A 34-year old tricycle driver died after the motorcycle he was driving bumped a backhoe parked on the side of the road at Dinapugan, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Bryan Bullong Aliguyon, 32, single, tricycle driver, high school graduate, and a resident of Dinapugan, Kiangan, Ifugao.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim, who was allegedly under the influence of liquor, was driving his motorcycle en route to Dinapugan when upon reaching the portion of the road, he suddenly rammed on the parked backhoe on the left side of the road.
The victim was immediately rushed to the Latowolan District Hospital in nearby Lagawe town for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians due to serious head and body injuries.
