CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad Benguet- A 28-year-old online seller listed as High-Value Individual (HVI) drug personality was arrested in a joint buy-bust operation conducted by Baguio City Police together with RECU-COR, RACU-COR, RIU-14, RDEU, PNPDEG SOU-1 and PDEA-Baguio at Diamond Subdivision, San Luis, Baguio City in the evening of June 22.
Based on the reports sent to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE identified the arrested suspect as Reina Salvador Buenaventura, 28; online seller, native of Nueva Ecija, and a resident of Diamond Alley, San Luis, Baguio City.
According to the operatives, Buenaventura was arrested after she sold a sachet of suspected shabu weighing 35 grams amounting to Php 238,000.00 to an undercover drug operative who acted as poseur buyer.
Meanwhile, other confiscated drug item was a sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.5 gram amounting to Php 3,400.00 and likewise, the buy-bust money.
All pieces of evidence were marked and inventoried onsite in the presence of Prosecutor Don Immanuel Vergara; Barangay Kagawad Marcial Wandagan; and Mr. Charles Nikko Limon of RNG Luzon.
Suspect Buenaventura is under the custody of Baguio City Police Station 8 for proper documentation, while a case for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (R.A 9165) is being prepared for filing in court. (PROCOR-PIO)
